What is VIKASTRO?
VIKASTRO is an online astrology workspace for Vedic (Parashari) and KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) chart analysis. Enter a date, time and place of birth to get a sidereal birth chart (Kundli), planetary positions with nakshatra, pada, star lord and sub lord, house cusps, Vimshottari dasha timing and horary (Prashna) judgment.
How do I get a login?
Tap Register on the sign-in page, fill in your name and mobile number, and send the form to us on WhatsApp. We will create your account and send you a username and password.
Is there a free way to try VIKASTRO?
Yes. Choose Continue as Guest on the sign-in page to calculate and read charts without creating an account. Saving profiles and notes needs a login.
What is the difference between Vedic and KP charts?
Vedic (Parashari) astrology reads the chart with whole-sign houses, signs, aspects and yogas. KP astrology uses Placidus house cusps and a star-lord and sub-lord system for precise event timing. VIKASTRO lets you switch between both views on the same birth data.
Which ayanamsa does VIKASTRO use?
Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) is the default. You can switch to the Krishnamurti (KP) ayanamsa in Settings, and every calculation updates accordingly.
What is Horary (Prashna) astrology?
Horary astrology answers a specific question by casting a chart for the moment of judgment. VIKASTRO supports the KP horary method with numbers 1 to 249, checked against the ruling planets.
Is my birth data safe?
Guest calculations are not saved on our server. For signed-in users, saved profiles are private to the account. Read the Privacy Policy for the full details.
